I was devastated - fit to be tied (based on what I was promised in the very beginning). I paid the $25 service fee, but when I spoke with the customer service rep handling the call, I clarified again (based on what I was told previously) that if it could not be repaired, how would they replace it? She stated that there was no replacement and that this policy does not cover replacement costs. Recently, we had to call in a service request for our Samsung Dryer because of a motor grinding noise and it not heating anymore. ![]() He is so busy because he does repair work. I have another plumber, but I don't know when he could fit me in. Most plumbers do not want to do repair work. I could get help and use the help because it's not easy. You got a plumbing contract, they don't cover spigots. If HomeServe wouldn't cover it, I would use them as my plumber. And it was the second time that company got the plumber here the same day that I called. I said, "Do it." I asked for the same company when I called back the second time because I liked it very much and I also asked if I could have the same person back. I called HomeServe for that and it wasn't covered, but I had a plumber here. The week before that, I had the pipe that is outside the house for the spigot that you would put a hose on. Putting in new guts in my toilet was not covered, but HomeServe was good for putting on wax rings because you got to take the whole toilet off. I said to her, "I don't know if you dropped covering that or not." But they didn't. I thought the wax ring was covered on the toilet because that was replaced five years ago when I had the contract and it was covered. I had a guy here a week ago because I had the wax ring in the toilet and my toilet was leaking. But once the supervisor came and took care of everything, and I said, "Don't send him back." And they didn't. Only one time, I had one vendor that I didn't particularly care for. ![]() They tell me what I need to do with my boiler. They take their time and they explain to me. Whoever vendor they send, everybody always explains to me what they're doing. Plus, they're entering into my home, so I wanna make sure that what they're saying they're gonna do is actually what they're doing. Everybody always says to me, "You're doing the right thing." I like that they say that. I shadow them all the time because this is my house and I like to know what's going on. What I always liked about any of the vendors was that if I asked questions, they didn't mind answering. The guy was very specific and attentive to the situation. This was not the first time that Rainbow's come to my house to do repairs. It wasn't getting power from the box downstairs.
